Education Research
G&L understands the need for Higher Education
to include GIS in their curriculum to give their students a step
on new technologies that will soon face their alumni. At G&L
we open our arms to partner with Higher Education Institutions to
provide them with:
• Educational Licenses to Educators & Students
• Sponsored GIS Training to Educators & Students
• Sponsored GIS Services for Research
• Joint Research Programs
• Research Grants
• Work-Placement Programs
• Internship
We greatly believe in research.
It is our aim for long-term partnership with research institutions
around the world. Humanity’s infrastructure is none other
than education. It is an infrastructure that allows humanity’s
progress to reach peaks only dreamt in the past.
G&L provides sponsored joint research programs
in various fields; whether you are researching propagation of cancerous
cells in the human body (human body is a geography and GIS tools
are useful in human mapping) or researching water distribution networks,
we will help you reach your endeavour.
Please contact us to see how we can benefit your
educational or research institute.
» Schools
Schools require making decisions on demographic
data of the area, such as planning for School bus routes. GIS is
also a helpful visualizing aid in teaching methods for various subjects.
We offer educational licenses and sponsored GIS services to schools.
Schools build the next generation of humanity. We view it in a perspective
that it is G&L that is investing in schools, and not schools
investing in GIS.
GIS public awareness is an integral part of our
mission. Schools are the best locations to bring public awareness
of this technology. We know that through GIS analysis.
» Libraries
and Museums
Libraries are a canter for culture and academia. G&L works closely
with libraries to bring GIS under the fingertips of the public.
Information today has become spatial. Information has a spatial
dimension evolving it to geoinformation. Philosophy and quantum
science also consider that anything is possible, it depends on what
perspective you are viewing. A pyramid, for example can be seen
as a triangle, square, or even a dot, depending on the viewing angle.
Spatial perception plays an important role on how our brain thinks.
Hence, spatial dimensions are important and an integral part to
information banks. GIS can be a useful tool in viewing spatial information
from different perspectives, even to the extent of analyzing symbology
in art.
